The 2025 Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos is centered on the theme of "Collaboration for the Intelligent Age."

The agenda was structured around five key thematic priorities:

1. Rebuilding trust

2. Reimagining growth

3. Investing in people

4. Safeguarding the planet

5. Industries in the intelligent age Katie McGinty, Vice President and Chief Sustainability and External Relations Officer at Johnson Controls, remarked:

"At Davos, discussions will be heavily influenced by global issues such as military conflicts, trade disputes, inflation, and the AI revolution. However, I anticipate that climate change and sustainability will also be significant topics, particularly in the wake of the catastrophic wildfires in Los Angeles."

There were various topics available, for example, the subject of "rebuilding trust" seeks to investigate how stakeholders can discover innovative methods for collaboration on solutions at both the international level and within individual societies. Featuring 25 discussions and nearly 100 speakers scheduled, it is anticipated that fresh ideas will emerge.

The World Economic Forum's Annual Meeting 2025 featured 26 live sessions centered around the theme of "safeguarding the planet."

Topics encompassed various issues, including carbon pricing, nature markets, climate change, and COP30.

The Official Agenda

As the world prepares for a potential second term of Trump, regular participants at Davos anticipated a shift in the overall atmosphere, even though the official agenda includes a variety of sessions addressing topics such as clean technology, water management, and LGBTQI+ rights.

Davos is raising awareness about the dangers facing Antarctica’s glaciers:

“We expect a recalibration of the Davos agenda this year, as CEOs are eager to achieve tangible results,” stated Christoph Schweizer, the global chief executive of Boston Consulting Group. He identified the primary focuses as enhancing productivity, leveraging AI for returns, and gearing up for a rise in mergers and acquisitions.

The agenda for Davos 2025 featured over 180 distinguished names and included 45 scheduled sessions, highlighting "investing in people" as a significant theme for discussion.

The agenda encompassed a variety of subjects, including refugees, diversity, women's health, and the advantages of augmentation and healthcare.
