Certifications

Depending on the results of the LCA, Carbon LCA Certified will issue one of two types of certificates:.

1.  “On the Path to Net Zero” – for businesses that have:

a. completed an LCA and can now quantify their greenhouse gas

emissions

b.  developed improvement emissions strategies and actions

c. established short, medium and long term carbon reduction targets

2.      “Carbon Neutral Certified” – for business that have:

a.       reached net zero carbon

b.       committed to maintain carbon neutrality

Ongoing Maintenance

Once the LCA models have been developed for the individual businesses, LCA results can be updated annually. This is necessary in order to:

• monitor and record improvements

• fine tune improvement strategies and actions

• maintain the certification level
